About Us

Access Support Ltd was formed by a collaboration of individuals who have in depth knowledge of disability inclusion in Higher Education with established and successful businesses in this sector.  This has given us the insight into the day to day difficulties encountered by support providers and inspired us to create an online solution.

Our vision was to devise a software package to provide an online platform to:

Reduce the barriers for HE students and apprentices with disabilities and mental health difficulties when accessing support.

Help the providers of support minimise time consuming administrative tasks to put the focus back on support.

Meet the increasing need to work remotely and move away from doing paperwork whilst still conforming to regulatory and audit requirements.

Touchpoint delivers all of this and more and is being used successfully in-house.  We have seen first-hand the many benefits of the system, notably the time and money we have saved.  Students have found the system easy to navigate and feel like they have more control when booking sessions and communicating with their support staff. Support staff have reported that they now have more time to focus on support delivery, enhancing student – support worker relationships.

Founder

With over a decade of experience in tutoring and mentoring Higher Education (HE) students, and as the founder of an agency providing Non-Medical Help (NMH), Michele has seen for herself how students can flourish when given the right support.  Michele created the Touch Point system as a comprehensive and intuitive solution to meet the needs of all users.

Tania

Business Support

Tania has many years’ experience working in the disability sector, is passionate about inclusion and has a good understanding of users needs. She has been involved with the development of Touchpoint and supports all aspects of the business.

Kiran
Kiran

Operations Co-ordinator

Kiran has been working in higher education for several years, as a specialist note taker and also as a Support Co-ordinator for an NMH provider, ensuring all aspects of student support is high quality and personalised. Kiran brings her knowledge and experience to the role of Operations Co-ordinator, ensuring that processes are in place for the smooth running of the business.

Brandon has studied Business and Economics and joined the team as an apprentice. He now supports the company with business development and planning, bringing a younger perspective to the team.
